过完端午节之后,很快就进入7月份,许多刚毕业的小伙伴们也进入了积极找心仪工作的状态。有非常多的小伙伴总是担心被问到自己没有准备的问题,或者担心自己的外语水平不够,不完全明白面试官会问什么问题。但其实有许多面试的问题是可以被预期或猜到的,看看以下这些面试中常被问到的问题,并且提早准备这些答案,如果遇到了很喜欢的公司,就一定要把握机会,把自己自信的一面和最好的状态展示出来噢!

If you were an animal, which one would you want to be? 如果你是一只动物,你想要当什么动物?

Don’t be alarmed if you’re asked, 「If you were an animal, which one would you want to be?」. Interviewers use this type of psychological question to see if you can think quickly. If you answer 「a bunny,」 you will make a soft, passive impression. If you answer 「a lion,」 you will be seen as aggressive. What type of personality would it take to get the job done? What impression do you want to make?

不要把这个问题当成冒犯的问题,面试官通常会透过这类心理学的问题来测验你的思考速度。如果你回答「小兔子」,你也许会得到温和、被动的印象。如果你回答「狮子」,你可能会被视为有侵略性。这份工作需要怎样的人格特质?你想要给人营造什么印象?是你回答这个问题之前需要思考的。

有些面试官喜欢通过一些比较容易轻易近人或者让你轻松的了解应聘者,而且问一些看起来温和且关涉到心理学的问题,可以针对应聘者的一些优缺点进行下一步的提问。但有些面试官就不那么好对付,会直接问你下面这个问题:

Why should we hire you?为什么我们要雇用你?

Answer 「Why should we hire you」 by summarizing your experiences: 「With five years」 experience working in the financial industry and my proven record of saving the company money, I could make a big difference in your company. I’m confident I would be a great addition to your team.」

你可以整合你过去的经验来回答这个问题。「我有五年在金融领域工作的经验,而且我过去有过帮公司节省大幅预算的成就,我相信自己可以在你的公司创造更高的价值,我认为这点对您的团队非常有帮助。」

又或者会问:

Why do you want to work here?为什么你想要在这里工作?

By asking you, 「Why do you want to work here?」 the interviewer is listening for an answer that indicates you’ve given this some thought and are not sending out resumes just because there is an opening.

?For example, 「I’ve selected key companies whose mission statements are in line with my values, where I know I could be excited about what the company does, and this company is very high on my list of desirable choices.」

问这个问题的面试官其实想要听的是你投递履历的真正动机,而不是因为公司在招聘你就随便乱投。你可以回答:「我所投递的公司都是经过我看过该公司的使命及愿景,并且符合我自己的价值观的公司,而这间公司是我投递的公司里面非常棒的选择之一。」

当然了,他还会想看看你是怎么评价你自己的,这个问题是非常常见的了:

What are your weaknesses? 你的缺点/弱项是什么?

「What are your weaknesses」 is one of the most popular questions interviewers ask. It is also the most dreaded question of all. Handle it by minimizing your weakness and emphasizing your strengths. Stay away from personal qualities and concentrate on professional traits: 「I am always working on improving my communication skills to be a more effective presenter. I recently joined xxxx, which I find very helpful.」

你不擅长什么事情/或是缺点是什么?这大概是最常被面试者询问的问题了,记得回答的时候要尽量减轻负面的影响程度,并且转而强调自己的强项。尽量避免那些个人特质,反而把重点放在专业能力的特质上,例如:「为了变成一个有影响力的演讲者,我一直试图加强我的沟通技巧,我最近还加入了xxxx,我发现这对我的学习非常有帮助。」

?What are your goals? 你的目标是什么?

When you’re asked, 「What are your goals?」 sometimes it’s best to talk about short-term and intermediate goals rather than locking yourself into the distant future. For example, 「My immediate goal is to get a job in a growth-oriented company. My long-term goal will depend on where the company goes. I hope to eventually grow into a position of responsibility.」

当被问到有关目标的问题时,最好能够谈谈短期跟中期的目标,不用一直把自己缩限在回答很远大的目标。例如:我近期的目标是加入一间成长快速的公司,而我长期的目标会根据这间公司的发展影响,我希望最终在这间公司能够负责高阶的管理工作。

这个问题在回答时,表达自己的规划同时,又要注意自己的言行不能过于锋芒毕露。

Why did you leave (or why are you leaving) your job? 你为什么离开你上一份工作?

If an interviewer asks, 「Why did you leave (or why are you leaving) your job?」 and you’re unemployed, state your reason for leaving in a positive context: 「I managed to survive two rounds of corporate downsizing, but the third round was a 20% reduction in the workforce, which included me.」

如果你被问到这个问题,而你也确实处在失业的状态,你可以以正面的角度回答你离开的原因,例如:「我试着在公司第二轮缩编的时候积极进取,虽然成功留下来,但是第三次缩编的时候,有20%的人都被裁员了,而我也在其中之一。」

这也是一个常见的问题,通过你决定离职的缘由去考虑你是否也会因为同样的缘由离开新公司。

If you are employed, focus on what you want in your next job: 「After two years, I made the decision to look for a company that is team-focused, where I can add my experience.」

如果这时候你还在旧的公司里,你可以描述你希望在未来的职业渴望得到什么东西:「我希望工作两年后,希望可以加入更强调团队合作的公司工作,我希望培养这方面的经历与能力。」

When were you most satisfied in your job? 你在什么时候对于你的工作最满意?

The interviewer who asks, 「When were you most satisfied in your job?」 wants to know what motivates you. If you can relate an example of a job or project when you were excited, the interviewer will get an idea of your preferences. 「I was very satisfied in my last job, because I worked directly with the customers and their problems; that is an important part of the job for me.」

如果面试者提到这个问题,他最想要知道什么事情最能够激励你。如果你提到过去让你非常热情投入的项目,这个面试官会很清楚知道你的偏好是什么。「我非常满意我上一份工作,因为我能够直接面对消费者并且解决他们的问题,我觉得这是我工作非常重要的一个部分。」

What can you do for us that other candidates can’t? 你可以做到什么其他面试者没有办法做到的事?

Emphasize what makes you unique when you’re asked, 「What can you do for us that other candidates can’t?」. This will take an assessment of your experiences, skills and traits. Summarize concisely: 「I have a unique combination of strong technical skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships. This allows me to use my knowledge and break down information to be more user-friendly.」

把重点放在你的独特性。你可以总结你过去的经验、技能、以及人格特质。严谨地总结:「我兼备两项专业技术,并且也有能力建立深厚的客户关系,这部份代表我有办法运用我会的知识将讯息拆解到简单易懂的程度。」

What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?你上一份工作老板会说你具备哪三个优点?

It’s time to pull out your old performance appraisals and boss’s quotes to answer the question, 「What are three positive things your last boss would say about you?」. This is a great way to brag about yourself through someone else’s words: 「My boss has told me that I am the best designer he has ever had. He knows he can rely on me, and he likes my sense of humor.」

这时候就是把你过去表现的评价以及老板说过的话搬出台面的时候。这时候你可以利用别人对你的评价来称赞你自己:「我的老板曾经告诉我,我是他雇用过的员工里面最棒的设计师,他知道我值得信赖,而且他也很喜欢我的幽默感。」

What salary are you seeking? 你期待得到多少薪水?

When you’re asked, 「What salary are you seeking?」 it is to your advantage if the employer tells you the range first. Prepare by knowing the going rate in your area, and your bottom line or walk-away point. One possible answer would be: 「I am sure when the time comes, we can agree on a reasonable amount. In what range do you typically pay someone with my background?」

当你被问到这个问题,如果对方先告诉你薪水的范围的话你会比较有优势。所以最好事前先调查好这份工作薪水的可能范围,设定好你最低可以接受的标准,以及你绝对会马上拒绝的底线,其中一种可能的回答是可以先反问:「我相信接下来我们可以达成一个合理的薪资数字,但我想先知道通常具备我这样背景的员工大概的薪水范围是多少?」

总之,在去面试以前,做好一切的准备,到面试自信地展示自己就可以了,即便是回答不满意也不用过去责备自己,面试的问题没有对与错,只有双方是否合适,尽全力就可以了。
